| 從工作中建立默契
Ryan來自美國，Stuart來自英國，兩人分別在香港居住了超過十年，他們最初相識是因為工作關係。在1998年至2001年期間，Ryan曾任亞洲一項大型戶外挑戰比賽的總籌劃，他早聞Stuart是個出色的戶外運動技術專家，因此聘任他為技術統籌。兩人相識相知，經常一起參與戶外運動，後來更合作發展戶外運動顧問公司，為不同機構和學校提供戶外運動訓練課程和活動籌劃，從合作中慢慢建立出默契。
互相支持
他們認為的優勝之處就是能夠彼此互信和支持。在比賽中，他們看過很多隊伍的隊員之間互不信任，為該走哪一個方向、用哪一種方法等各執一辭，很多隊伍因此弄至不歡而散，又或者因隊員進度慢而拋下隊員獨自向前。而Ryan 和 Stuart 就會互相支持，例如Ryan專長跑步，Stuart的強頂是水上運動，Ryan看到Stuart力有不逮時會助他一劈之力推他前進，Stuart亦會在水上運動中遷就Ryan的進度。他們認為以二人共同進退為目標才是致勝之道。
